SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will launch Starlink Group 11-8 smallsats to low Earth orbit on Saturday from Vandenberg AFB at 7:57 AM – 12:28 PM PST, the second launch from this pad this week.
A batch of satellites for the Starlink mega-constellation – SpaceX’s project for space-based internet communication system at a cost of $52 million.
Space Launch Complex 4E has been the site of the launch of 176 rockets, including 176 orbital launch attempts, while Vandenberg SFB, California, has been the site for 788 rocket launches.
